Success in Defending Folkestone RVH
At the Council meeting on 17th January 2007, Rory spoke to defend the services and clinics provided at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
Now, the East Kent Hospitals’s Trust has confirmed to Shepway District Council that:
“...all services will stay, and in an enhanced environment.”
Rory has welcomed the news, but has warned that the Community must remain vigilant to ensure the promises materialise. Two Open Days were held at the Hospital in June 2007 for the public to view the Trust’s refurbishment plans.
